Hiking Banff the Canadian Rockies by K Gordon Schultz March 12, 2010 written by K Gordon Schultz March 12, 2010 0 comment 0FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail 2.7K Hiking Trails in Banff National Park and the Canadian Rockies According to legend (that I made up), the Canadian Rockies were crafted by the bearded man in the sky for hiking, backpacking and camping. If this legend was true, then Yamnuska Mountain Adventures would be the church for outdoor activities in Canmore, Banff and the Rockies. The choices are so many that you can challenge yourself with some difficult climbs and be rewarded with outstanding views or take a relatively easy route and be rewarded with outstanding views. Aside from the lush forests, towering mountains and dramatic Rocky Mountains, it is pretty likely that there will be some cool wildlife checking you out too. Yamnuska Mountain Adventures is the kind of business that maximizes the potential of your vacation or trip. These guys know the trails of the Rockies better than the mountain sheep and they are better equipped too! They organize scheduled backpacking trips all around the Canadian Rockies and can get a private trip together as well for a date that suits. You donโt necessarily need to be fit though you will enjoy the hike all the more if you can breathe and arenโt cursing Mother Nature. Hiking Banff and the Canadian Rockies is a must do. Ideally, if you have the time, spend a few days in summer camping and hiking at your own leisure. If you are looking to book a corporate team building day out for your staff, Yamnuska is a great option. Fresh air, stunning sights and good conversation make for a great break from the office. There is also the possibility the boss could fall off a cliff! 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail K Gordon Schultz K Gordon Schultz is a well-known figure in the golf community and currently serves as the President of the Canmore Golf & Curling Club in Canmore, Alberta, Canada.
