Whitewater Exciter

Never been rafting before?  Been rafting before but want something more? This non-stop BIG whitewater action trip near Banff is sure to satisfy whether it’s your first or 15th time on a river!  The Whitewater Exciter is our flagship trip; over 120,000 rafters have enjoyed this exceptional stretch of the Kicking Horse River since 1992. Offered twice daily. Suitable for all adventure levels, minimum 12 years and 90 pounds.

Gentle

A bouncy and splashy introduction to whitewater! Class II and Class III rapids, mixed with stunningly scenic float sections, await those seeking more of a moderate white water experience. Try your hand at paddling or sit back and enjoy the ride. Ideal for anyone 8 years of age and older. Daily morning departures with select afternoon departures. Offered June, July & August.

The Tradition

If able to spend more time on the river, then ‘The Tradition’ is ideal. Our traditional full-length Kicking Horse River rafting trip combines the beauty and peaceful upper section with the BIG waves and rapids found in our Whitewater Exciter half-day trip. It is 2 trips in 1! Delicious BBQ lunch served afterwards.

Get your whitewater adrenaline fix on this ‘Double Shot’ of Kicking Horse rafting action. 24 kilometres, 28 rapids in the smallest, most extreme paddle rafts available on the river.
